    Randy Hawthorne — Executive Director

    As Publisher and Executive Director for Nonprofit Hub, and a Professional Certified Marketer, Randy shares his passions of marketing and education with nonprofits to help them implement marketing and organizational leadership principles so they can grow their organizations. Randy lends his expertise to a number of nonprofits in his community, including the American Marketing Association, Lincoln Community Playhouse, Rotary Club #14, Leadership Lincoln and Launch Leadership. Outside the office, Randy works with high school and college students and mentors young professionals to develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

    Matt Spitsen — Associate Director

    Matt is the Associate Director of Nonprofit Hub, helping provide vision and action to our operations, marketing and staff as a whole. Outside of work, he’s been volunteering in the nonprofit sector for 12 years with director and board experience – and is currently serving as the VP of Marketing for the Boy Scouts of America Cornhusker Council.     Nick Small — Director of Content Strategy

    A graduate of the University of Nebraska—Lincoln, Nick brings a depth of experience in nonprofit marketing. He’s helped hundreds of nonprofits with their online presence to improve donor retention and attract new audiences. In his spare time, Nick enjoys discovering new music, playing golf and using his social media prowess to create epic Snapchats.

  • Hana Muslic — Content Strategist
    Hana Muslic — Content Strategist

    Hana is a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, putting her journalism degree to use by writing articles for the Hub’s national publications and overseeing the national social media accounts. Hana is dedicated to the nonprofit sector and giving back to the community that has given so much to her. If you need some last minute plans, she will most likely join you in impulsively buying concert tickets right before the show.

    Spencer Creal — Content Strategist

    Spencer recently graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an English degree. Spencer contributes content to the Hub’s website and national magazine. He has always wanted to work in the nonprofit sector, so he’s grateful for this opportunity. There’s an Instagram account dedicated to his tweets overlaid on inspirational backgrounds; check it out @keepingit_creal.

  • Sydny Boyd — Content Strategist
    Sydny Boyd — Content Strategist

    Sydny is a senior studying sports journalism and broadcasting with minors in English and theatre. She works on the Hubcast, Hubbub, web and magazine content and social media. She’s excited to be working at Nonprofit Hub, where she’ll be able to help nonprofits of all shapes and sizes. Sydny's addicted to fruit snacks and binge watching shows on Hulu and Netflix. Yes, she has both.

  • Jordan Geisert — Graphic Designer
    Jordan Geisert — Graphic Designer

    Jordan is a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln studying graphic design. She is responsible for all creative aspects at Nonprofit Hub, from the publications to the signs hanging at our office. Jordan hopes to spread her creative wings here at Nonprofit Hub in a way that helps us achieve our mission. She’s a typewriter collector, even owning some from the early 1900s.

    Keona Koster — Marketing Coordinator

    As a senior Marketing major and management and psychology minor, Keona plans Randy’s speaking gigs, coordinates event marketing and formats the Hubcap sharing our content. She finds inspiration empowering others so that they can give back to their communities. You can catch her in her hammock with a book (or two) when she’s not here.

  • Garrett Miles — Sales & Marketing Associate
    Garrett Miles — Sales & Marketing Associate

    Garrett is a senior majoring in Marketing and minoring in math, economics and political science. He builds relationships with sponsors for advertisements in all Hub media and designs sponsorship proposals. He’s excited to be contributing to the local community and aiding nonprofits across the country with their missions. Garrett’s a leap year baby so technically, he’s only 5 ¼ years old. He hasn’t aged well.
